Our COVID-19 response

Further to our advice provided on the 13th of March, we would like to advise some additional measures being introduced by our business to ensure a safe and continuing working environment for all. Consistent with advice around social distancing and interaction we advise that we will no longer be conducting open homes for either sale or lease inspections.

For “sale” properties our team will arrange appointments by appointment and for “lease” properties inspections will be arranged on the completion of tenancy application forms which can be accessed from our website. Regular routine inspections of our managed properties are being deferred.

Additionally, we encourage interaction and completion of documentation to be by email and text messaging and attendance at the office will be by appointment only with the staff member.

Regardless of these measures, we assure you that our team continues to be committed to delivering our services to the highest standard given the current difficult circumstances and advice from health authorities.

Advice issued on March 13th

This notification is an attempt to highlight the potential implications on our services to all clients as a result of the current COVID-19 pandemic. This is in no way a recommendation or advice for you to action. Devine Property is keen to share what we know and things that we could be confronting in assisting you. We have a responsibility to you, our staff and stakeholders and want to work with you in playing our part in keeping everyone healthy in the face of the current challenges.

Things are moving quickly but for now, it is business as usual. We are however planning around limiting exposure and interaction of staff with larger gatherings of people to that end we may be encouraged to perform inspections of properties by appointment rather than open homes as an example. The technology within our business allows our sales team to service clients remotely and continue the sales process and communicate efficiently with both buyers and sellers.

For all of our commercial client’s office buildings or retail premises, we will be monitoring advice and following through with direction from appropriate health authorities as to any measures deemed appropriate.

Fortunately given the technology in place, we can continue to perform our normal financial functions for property management such as producing tenant invoices, receipting payments, creditor payments and remittance of landlord monthly statements. Any tenancy matter or concern will be responded to by one of our Devine Property team members.
