Trent & Alicia have this week settled on their first home and will be moving in over the Easter period, setting up both house and a home office for Trent.
Trent works in Corporate Communications and Alicia is a Social Worker. They had been seriously house hunting for around six months and had moved in with family to save whilst searching for the right house.
The first homeowner price category can be a competitive space, with many homes under $400,000 having multiple offers, making it hard to enter the property market.
Trent & Alicia met our agent Bec Owens at an open home for a house that didn’t turn out to be the right one, but by keeping in touch Bec was aware of their requirements, and when this Claremont home listed she was able to show them through before it was advertised.
It ticked all their boxes: the right location close to family and a secure yard for the dog too! They placed their offer and it was accepted by the vendors who were moving to Northern Tasmania for work.
Our advice to anyone looking to buy, especially in competitive price points, is to keep in regular contact with our agents so we know exactly what you are looking for.
It’s also helpful to get finance pre-approved or at least have a discussion with your broker to confirm lending capacity so you can offer with confidence when the right home comes to market.
If you are looking to buy, contact our Residential Team to discuss exactly what you are looking for – we’d love to help you find your space!
